Post pals.

I found this amazing little site through Carrie Fletcher's YouTube channel, she talked shortly about it in a video.

It's a website run by volunteers with the purpose to make children smile. To do that, you can send them an email, a letter or even a gift, where you write or give them anything you want, anything you think can bring a smile to their face and brighten their day a little.

What is better than being able to bring a smile to a face on a little kid, whose life is mostly pain, surgery and hospitals? It's hard to imagine how it's like to be in their place, I don't even want to try to imagine that, but I know it's really hard for them and their families, especially the kids old enough to understand what they're going through.

Every kid becomes happy for some kind words, a cute little personal story or maybe even a princess crown or a superhero cape. And when the kid is happy, so are the parents. A litte kid in a hospital sitting with the brightest smile on just because a stranger sent them some mail, that must be one of the best things ever.

That's why I choose to send a few letters and maybe even some gifts to some of them. The thought of making a little ill kid smile is something that also brings a smile to my face, knowing I made a little creature happy. It must be something that sticks with you for the rest of your life. I at least hope so!!

I encourage everyone to at least take a look at this website and just check out what it's about. The least you could do is post about it on your own blog/facebook/tumblr/twitter/whatever, just to make other people aware about it. No need to even write as long a post as I just did, just mention shortly with a link. If you want to, you can get involved by sending an email (that's rarely any effort, and remember, it makes someone SMILE), a letter or a gift, but you can also choose to donate. Keep in mind the people arranging this are all volunteers and would appreciate a tiny donation.

You can find the link to the website right >>>HERE<<< and in the top of the post as well.

    1. Sounds amazing! I know Cille already found a child she wanted to write to, and we planned it all out.
I love how I can at least get a few people to do something by sharing this on my blog. Thanks, Marie! :D
